Jordan L The Wolves of Avalon have fast become a personal favourite in recent years. This 7" ticked all the boxes of expectation from a Wolves release. The A-side, a cover of a Venom classic is fast and furious with enough guest appearances to get metal fanatics ecstatic at the sheer thought of it. Side B showcases the depth of songwriting that will encourage new fans to journey into the Wolves discography. They are a tribal brotherhood of war and know how to die well, or in this case...Die Hard! 8/10 Favorite track: Die Hard (Venom cover).

about

"Where Metatron and crew strike gold, though, is during their hellish rendition of 'Die Hard'. The instrumentation pays homage to the original, thrashing about with reckless abandon...Sure, Venom covers are a dime a dozen, but The Wolves of Avalon bring a veritable who’s who of guest stars to push their version above and beyond a mere homage. Featuring guest spots by Rob Miller of Amebix, Mirai Kawashima of Sigh, Alan Averill of Primordial and none other than Mantas himself, this is a cover track that will be hard for any others to outdo." - The Metal Observer

'Die Hard' is the latest release from the Pagan Metal project the Wolves of Avalon (Metatron / Meads of Asphodel).

Side A is a cover of the classic Venom song 'Die Hard' featuring guest appearances from Mantas (Venom) on guitar and vocals; Rob Miller (Amebix) on vocals; Mirai (Sigh) on vocals; and, Alan Averill (Primordial) on vocals.

Side B is a re-arranged, re-recorded version of a Wolves of Avalon original from their first full length titled 'Carrion Crows Reprise.'
